Settings

Use Settings to manage the account-level and workspace-level controls around Perspective AI.

Open the workspace switcher in the sidebar and choose Manage workspace to reach workspace Settings. Settings now has its own sidebar, grouped sections, and a header link that takes you back to your research. The profile menu at the bottom of the main sidebar also links directly to Edit your profile and MCP.

  • Profile Setup - configure your avatar, name, personalization context, and onboarding email preference.
  • Workspaces and Account Settings - create workspaces, update workspace details, set a default workspace, and transfer ownership.
  • Roles and Permissions - understand Owner, Admin, Member, and pending-invite behavior.
  • Plan and Billing - view the current plan, credits, payment method, and invoices.
  • Integrations - connect Slack, HubSpot, and Gmail for automations and notifications.
  • MCP Keys - create, scope, and revoke workspace-scoped MCP keys for AI assistant access.
  • Connected Apps - review and revoke OAuth apps connected to your Perspective account.
  • Model Settings - choose the workspace text interviewer model.
  • Data Retention and Privacy - use the available settings controls to reduce unnecessary access and external connections.

The Settings menu changes based on your access. Profile, MCP, and Connected Apps are user-level pages. Workspace members also see Integrations, Members, Plan and Billing, Model, and Account pages for the current workspace.

Use the Settings sidebar to move between related areas without returning to the workspace home:

  • User-level pages affect your account across workspaces: Profile, MCP, and Connected Apps.
  • Workspace-level pages affect the selected workspace: Integrations, Members, Plan and Billing, Model, and Account.
  • Back to research returns you to the workspace or Perspective you came from.
